About the Authors
Diane Friese, Susan Russell, and Daniele O'Brien, authors/illustrators of Aprilmae Gets Carried Away!, are graduates of Eastern Michigan University, and lifelong residents of the Ann Arbor, Michigan, area. Diane Friese and Susan Russell taught students with special needs for many years, while Daniele O'Brien uses her talents in graphic design. Diane has previously co-authored and illustrated four children's books with Kindred Spirits Publishing.
As great friends, the trio shares many interests, such as nature and gardening, the arts, and the spoken and written word. All look forward to creating a follow-up book to Aprilmae Gets Carried Away!. Look for this and future books in our Screen Door series.
